Bulldogs On The Run 5K & Bark

Race Info

The Bulldogs On The Run 5K & Bark is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Orangeburg, SC. This event aims to promote health and fitness and provide financial support to students attending South Carolina State University.

The 5K is a 3.1-mile course through the downtown area of Orangeburg. The Bark is a 1.0-mile out-and-back route along the outskirts of the 5K route. Both events share the same starting address.

Packet Pick Up

Packets can be picked up for friends and family:

• Friday, October 23: 5:00pm - 7:30pm (TBD)
• Saturday, October 24, 2026: 6:30am - 7:05am (TBA)

T-Shirts

Participants who sign up by October 5, 2026, will receive a t-shirt. 5K participants get a multi-blend t-shirt, and Bark participants receive a cotton t-shirt. Sizes are based on registration; no size exchanges.

Medals

All 5K participants will receive a custom finisher medal.

21 and Under Pricing:

Awards

Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Male and Female in the following age groups: 0-17, 17-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

Timing

The event will be timed using RM Timing Systems by Simply Timing. All 5K participants will receive a disposable timing tag during packet pick up.

Refunds and Transfers

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable between individuals, events, or years. Bib transfers are allowed for a $15 fee through runsignup.com.

Medic/First Aid

A medical tent will be located at the finish line.

Weather Policy

The races will be held rain or shine unless conditions are deemed too dangerous by Bulldogs On The Run and local law enforcement. No refunds or transfers will be issued in case of cancellation due to weather.

Parking

Parking details will be provided at a later date.

Entertainment

FADE (Forever and A Day Experience) will be performing at the Start and Finish line.
