Race Features

One of a Kind Experience running on an actual runway, through the Ohio Air Guard Facility, and a great Start / Finish at the MAPS Air Museum. One of the BEST finisher medals around. The Afterburner Zone - a 100 meter race inside of the 5K, located just after Mile 2.2. Great SWAG / Food / Beverages / NEW Post-Race Party.

Green Great 8 Race Series - The CAK5K on the Runway is one of the featured events in the Green Great 8 Race Series.

Packet Pickup

• Thursday, October 2nd - Noon to 7pm - Second Sole in Akron (1466 N Portage Path, Akron, OH 44313)
• Friday, October 3rd - Noon to 7pm - Second Sole in Canton (4691 Dressler Rd NW, Canton, OH 44718)

You will pick up your race bib, event t-shirt, pins, and flyers. You may pick up for friends as well.

Beneficiary

We support and promote the efforts of the MAPS Air Museum, location of our Start, Finish, and Post-Race experience. MAPS is truly a hidden gem in our community. All donations will support their programming and operational activities.
