Celebrate a Nurse 5K and 1 Mile Walk

This is the 5th annual Celebrate a Nurse 5K 1M Run/Walk on Saturday, May 2, 2026, starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Madison College-Reedsburg Campus. Both the 1-mile and 5K races start at the same time. Proceeds benefit a scholarship for Madison College – Reedsburg nursing students. Encourage everyone to participate. Only runners participating in the 5K event will be timed. Awards will be presented immediately following the race to the top 1st-3rd place male and females finishing in each age division. The 5K route may also be walked. Virtual 5K participants are ineligible for top 3 finisher awards. Virtual 5K participants within Sauk County can pick up their items at the Reedsburg Campus; otherwise, shirts will be shipped. In-person sign-ups are eligible for transfer to a virtual race if unable to attend. 5K age divisions are: 17 & under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over. Team entries are free. Examples of teams include Alumni Nurses graduation class, Nursing Departments, Healthcare Organizations, Memorial teams, and family teams. Be creative with your team attire – a prize will be given to the most creative team. There is no size limit for a team. An award for the most creative team overall will be given.
