Celebration of Life 5K Walk/Run 2026

Event Details

Every year since 2020, during our organization's Celebration of Life Cancer Awareness Event weekend, we host a 5K walk that began in the midst of the pandemic. This event encourages regular exercise and promotes awareness of critical health issues such as cancer, sarcoidosis, diabetes, and now COVID-19.

We come together to walk in the city of Melissa, Texas, where our organization is based—to raise awareness and show support within the community we serve. We invite you to sign up and join us for this year’s walk on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 8:00 AM. The walk will begin at Melissa Lake Park in Melissa, TX. If you are unable to attend in person, you can still participate by signing up, making a donation, and completing the 3-mile walk in your own neighborhood.
