Celtic Canter 5K

Join us this year for the 15th Annual Celtic Canter 5K on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 9AM! The course starts and finishes at the Irish Festival on Main Street in Downtown Westminster.

Registration includes a long-sleeve t-shirt (upgrade to a hooded sweatshirt for an additional $20), post-race beverage (beer for 21+ or a bottled water), refreshments, and an awards ceremony. The Irish Festival is held from 8AM-Noon, featuring live music, vendors, and activities for children. A free trolley runs from Noon-5PM for a pub crawl from Noon-4 PM.

Pricing: Register ONLINE for $35. Registration increases on March 1 at 12:01 a.m. to $39 per runner. Race Headquarters on 3/14 will also have registration for $39.

Packet Pick-Up: Recreation and Parks Department, 11 Longwell Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157. March 12, 7am-7pm; March 13, 7am-7pm.

Awards: Male and Female/1st & 2nd place in age groups: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & over. Also First Overall (Male & Female) & Masters 40+(Male & Female). Team Awards for fastest, best dressed, oldest, and youngest teams (minimum 4 members).

0.5K (Don't miss the point!)

Presented by Crossroads Church, benefiting Crossroads Missions. Basic Registration ($25) includes a 0.5K magnet, long-sleeved t-shirt, and participation medals. A coffee and donut station is available at the halfway point.

VIP Registration Package ($30 per person): Includes basic package items plus access to the VIP Firepit Lounge with AYCE Smore's Bar from 11:30-Noon. Extra funds benefit Crossroads Missions.

Running Late Package: Basic Registration $30, VIP Registration $35 after March 1.

1-Mile Leprechaun Chase

A 1-mile Fun Run held at 10:15 a.m. following the Celtic Canter 5K. Every participant receives access to the AYCE Smore's Bar, post-race refreshments, and awards ceremony. Stay after the race to enjoy the Irish Festival.

Pricing: $15 registration fee prior to March 1; $17 registration fee after March 1.

Awards: Top male and female finishers in age brackets (10 & under, 11-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60+). All children 10 and under receive a participation medal and free kid's meal coupon from Texas Roadhouse. Kids' Kingdom offers Irish games and entertainment.
