Cherry Pit - 10 miler

Race Info

The Cherry Pit - 10 miler is the 2nd Leg of the Championship Series. THIS IS AN OPEN ROAD COURSE. The race starts and finishes behind South River High School. Scenic rolling hills on the original Cherry Pit course. Keep to one side of the road, and do not run more than two abreast on Route 2. There will be course monitors at intersections.

Race Pace: You must be able to maintain a 15 minute per mile pace to compete in this race.

Entry Fee: $15. Annapolis Striders members receive a club discount making the entry fee $10.00. Race day registration (if not sold out) is $25.00. Open to ages 13 - 100.

Packet Pickup & Registration: 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM.

Water Stations: 3 stations on the course with water and Gatorade.

Timing: Results will be posted to this site and annapolisstriders.org.

Race Rules: No headphones, strollers, rollerblades or pets. Follow direction of race monitors. All decisions of the race director are final.

Awards: Prizes for female and male 1st overall, 1st Masters, and 10 year Age groups.
