Description

Every year, Cobb County hosts the Make-A-Wish 5K, a 5-kilometer run the benefits of which are donated to Make-A-Wish® Georgia to grant wishes for Cobb County children with critical illnesses. This year, there are 47 children in Cobb County waiting to have his or her wish granted. It is our hope to grant more wishes and we know that it takes a community to make this happen. Help us put a smile on a child's face by making their wish come true. The Make-A-Wish 5K is a Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. Participants assemble on the Marietta Square, pre-race festivities begins at 7:20 a.m., the race begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Walk-up registration begins at 6:30 a.m., ending at 7:20 a.m. Join us and let's run for a great cause! **The race will go on as planned unless conditions are deemed hazardous to runners and volunteers.**
