Powered by Canaqua Sports, this is the 5th year of the Collingwood Open Water Swim, an important part of the Canaqua Sports Open Water Swim Series. Open water swimmers are invited to join on July 5, 2026.

Distances: 1K, 3K, 5K

The course is a standard 1K triangular shape, with swimmers completing 1, 3, or 5 laps depending on their chosen distance.

Canaqua Sports and the Georgian Bay Squall Masters Swim Club are proud to support Georgian Bay Forever, an organization dedicated to conserving, protecting, and restoring the aquatic ecosystem of Georgian Bay.

Race Info:

• Location: Collingwood Harbour, Collingwood Ontario
• Exact location: Georgian Trail 3 Birch Street. Collingwood On.
• Check-in: 7:30 - 8:30 AM at the Canaqua Sports tent onsite
• Race Start Time: 9:00 AM
• Facilities & Food: Washrooms will be available. Food will be provided.
• Race Details: Swim caps will be provided and MUST BE WORN. A number will be inked on upper back/shoulder. Water temperature ranges between 68 – 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Chip timing system will be used.
• Results: Will be posted at www.canaquasports.com
• Rain Date: There will not be a "rain date"; a delay (or cancellation) would only occur in the event of lightning.
