Conquering with Canaan is a non-profit organization with a goal of helping families with children diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease. Every 15 minutes a child born is being diagnosed with a congenital heart disease, the # 1 birth defect in children. On average, 40,000 children born are diagnosed with CHD. With the size of a walnut, many newborns undergo open-heart surgeries in the first few days of their life. It is a world-changing and heart-wrenching journey the loved ones of the child must face. There is no cure for it, only a temporary fix. This means these children go numerous heart surgeries during their lifetime. Many do not make it beyond their first year. Needless to say, one of the hardest battles the loved ones fight along with their little heart warrior. The proceeds from this fundraiser will directly benefit the inpatient families and research in the Cardiac Unit at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Location: The event will be held at Corwin Nixon Park, located at 6249 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040.

Run Divisions: 12/under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70/over

Walk Divisions: 20/under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Awards: Top male and female runners and walkers. Age group awards for each run/walk division. Awards presented immediately following the race/walk.

T-Shirts: Included with registration for those who sign up by April 1, 2026

Chip Timing: Race will be professionally chip-timed by Running Time Race Services

Post-Race Activities: Kids Fun Run, Awards Ceremony, Refreshments, Kids Fun Activities

Registration Fee:

• Adults 13 and over: Early bird - $25 through Wednesday, March 25, 2026; $35 from March 26 through Friday, April 24, 2026; $40 Race Day
• Kids 5-12: Early bird - $15 through Wednesday, March 25, 2026; $20 from March 26 through Friday, April 24, 2026; $25 Race Day
• Kids under 5 need not register

Registration includes Chip Timing, refreshments, T-shirt (See deadline) and a chance for awards. All registration will be online including race day.

Additional Details: Strollers, baby joggers and wagons are allowed, but those using them must be registered participants regardless of age and ability level. Unregistered participants, pets, unauthorized vehicles, skateboards, roller skates, bicycles or other motorized devices are not allowed.

Race Check-in and Packet Pickup: Race-day Check-in and Number Pickup: 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM at Corwin Nixon Park. Race Day Registration: All registration will be online including race day.
