The Crotona Park 5K promises to be an exciting and challenging course for runners of all skill levels. This 5K race will take runners through some of the most beautiful and historic areas of Crotona Park, with stunning views of the lake and the surrounding trees. The race will begin at 9:30 am by the Crotona Ave and Claremont Pkwy, and runners will follow a winding course through the park, with plenty of hills and turns to keep things interesting. Along the way, runners will pass by some of the park's most notable landmarks, including the Indian Lake. As with all Race The Bronx events, the Crotona 5K is about more than just running. It's about celebrating the beauty and diversity of our borough, and bringing together members of the community for a fun and challenging outdoor experience. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to try something new, we hope you'll join us for this exciting race in one of the Bronx's most treasured parks.

A prize will be awarded to the 1st place male and 1st place female. This event is directed by an RRCA Certified Race Director.

• Medals: Yes, medals will be given for this race!
• Walkers/Strollers: Yes & Yes! Walkers and parents with strollers can sign up for the Friends & Family wave. Walkers will have a 1 hour 50 minute time frame to complete the 5k distance.
• Refunds: There are no refunds for this race, but bib transfers are allowed.
• Bibs: Yes, bibs will be given out the morning of the race, at Crotona Park, beginning at 8:30am. Pins will be provided.
• Bag Check: Yes, there will be a bag check area with volunteer staff monitoring belongings.
• Refreshments: Yes, waters and fruit for registered runners and walkers.
• Cheering: Yes! Friends and family are welcome to cheer along the course.
• Pets: Animals and pets are not allowed on the race course, but service animals will be accommodated for persons with disabilities.
