Daffodil Dash 1-mile fun run/walk & 5K race

Registration is now open for the Second Annual Daffodil Dash on April 13, 2024, a fun 1-mile run/walk or 5K race along Ithaca’s Cass Park amidst a display of 130,000 daffodils. The event is open to all ages: both courses are paved and accessible. Free registration and t-shirt for participants under 12; $25 registration & optional $10 t-shirt for all others. Limited to the first 500 registrants or until March 28,whichever comes first. The Daffodil Dash is a joint project of the Ithaca Garden Club and Ithaca Children’s Garden. Every dollar raised will go toward yet more daffodils to be planted next fall by the City of Ithaca and volunteers from Cornell University, with the help of an extraordinary bulb-planting machin from Cornell! This is part of the Ithaca Garden Club’s Daff-a-Dazzle campaign a multi-year effort to plant daffodils throughout the community.
