David McKannan Memorial 5k and Fun Run

Welcome to the Annual David McKannan Memorial Run

This run is held in memory of David McKannan, an avid runner, loving father, husband, and brother who lost his battle with ALS in 2012. Join us for a day of remembrance and running.

Event Details

• The 5K race begins at 7:00 a.m. CDT. The course is flat and fast, running along shaded paths and the river.
• The 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 8:00 a.m. CDT and promises a fast and fun route.
• Age group awards will be given.

Location

The event takes place at Ditto Landing, 293 Ditto Landing Rd SE, Huntsville, AL 35803 US.

Packet Pickup and Late Registration

Late registration and race packets will be available:

• Friday, the day before the race: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Fleet Feet Sports (2722 Carl T Jones Dr SE B2, Huntsville, AL 35802)
• Race day: Starting at 6:00 AM until 15 minutes before the race start at the race site.
