Join us for the 9th annual 3-2-1 Deacon Dash Fun Run and/or 5K Race on March 21, 2026 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. This race is designed for everyone! Come show your support for The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem.

What is the Deacon Dash?The 3-2-1 Deacon Dash for Down Syndrome is a 5K race fundraising event with an extra .11 mile added for a 3.21 total distance for the awareness and support of individuals with Down syndrome! Most people have 2 copies of 23 different chromosomes, but individuals with Down syndrome are born with 3 copies of the 21st chromosome (the medical term for this is Trisomy 21).

Race Schedule:

• Fun Run starts at 9:00 a.m.
• 5K starts at 9:30 a.m.

• Pre-Race Day Packet Pickup: TBD
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Saturday, March 21st from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the race site (Winston-Salem Fairgrounds off Shorefair Dr. Gate 7)
