Location: Hesston Middle School, 303 PARK RD, Hesston, KS 67062, US

Description: The 35th Annual Hesston Recreation and Community Education Emma Creek 5K/1M run/walk. This is our annual fundraiser to raise funds to serve our youth.

Events:

• One-mile fun run/walk (9:00 AM start)
• 5K run (9:30 AM start)

Awards: Top 10 overall and top 3 per age group. Awards ceremony at 10:30 AM.

Packet Pickup: Friday, April 24, 9 AM to 3 PM at Hesston Aquatic Center, 300 N Ridge Rd.

Race Day Schedule:

• Packet pickup/day-of registration: 8:00 AM
• One-mile fun run/walk: 9:00 AM
• 5K run: 9:30 AM
• Brunch for runners
• Awards ceremony: 10:30 AM

Rules:

• The Emma Creek 5k is a certified fast-and-flat course.
• Timing chips are used.
• All Kansas middle school, junior high, and high school track and field athletes are ineligible.
• Strollers are welcome.
• No cell phones or pets allowed in the race.
• No scooters/skates/skateboards.
• Medical aid will be available.
