Firefly Race Series Challenge 3K & 10K

Embark on a two-day running adventure with the Firefly Series at The Morton Arboretum. The series features both a 3K and a 10K course through rolling terrain along the Arboretum’s East Side.

Day one kicks off with the Firefly 3K run and walk at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, offering a unique after-hours experience at the Arboretum with stunning sunset views and a fun post-race party featuring glow lights and a DJ.

Gear up for day two beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, with the invigorating Firefly 10K through the scenic landscapes of the Arboretum’s East Side, following the annual Champion of Trees 10K route.

Virtual Participation

Runners may participate in the race series virtually by running one or both race distances at a location of their choosing. Virtual participants will have access to the 3K and 10K courses at the Arboretum from Friday, June 6 to Friday, June 13.

Firefly Challenge

Participate in just one race, or register for both the Firefly 3K and 10K runs by June 6 to take on a combined challenge and receive an extra discount. Please note that the Firefly Challenge only applies to registration for both on-site races or both virtual races.
