Geist Waterfront Triathlon

The Geist Waterfront Triathlon is in its 2nd year and will be held at the new Geist Waterfront Park. The event includes Duathlon, Aquabike, and Relay options.

Sprint Triathlon

• 500 yard swim with a beach start
• 12.5 mile flat to rolling bike course around the reservoir
• 3.1 mile flat run on paved trails and neighborhood streets

Olympic Triathlon

• 1500 meter swim in the reservoir
• 25 mile two-lap flat to rolling terrain bike course
• 6.2 mile flat run on paved trails and neighborhood streets

The event features a beautiful swim from the new beach, a bike course on mildly rolling county roads around the reservoir, and a run out-and-back on a paved trail and through a quiet waterside neighborhood.
