The "Goats in the Dark" 5k returns with an unchanged course. Starting at the corner of LeGrande Cannon Blvd and Silverette St, on Helena's far west side, the race will offer pleasant nighttime temperatures and stunning sunset views. Participants are reminded to bring headlamps!

The course involves following LeGrande Cannon Blvd east to Tubbs Trailhead, then taking on the switchbacks for a fun loop on Swaney, Diretissima, and Ambrose trails on Mount Helena's western flank. Runners will finish on the Panhandle trail, leading to Reber Rd and back to LeGrande Cannon Blvd for a quick sprint to the finish line.
