HURL Elkhorn 50 Miler, 50K, and 13.1 Miler

Event Overview

The HURL Elkhorn is a tough endurance event taking place on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Choose from three challenging courses: the 50 Miler, 50K, and 13.1 Mile.

Course Details

• 50 Miler: Approximately 50 miles with 13,400 feet of elevation gain. Expect rugged terrain with technical single track trails and primitive roads.
• 50K: Approximately 30 miles featuring 7,900 feet of elevation gain, presenting a scenic yet challenging experience.
• 13.1 Miler: Approximately 13.1 miles with 3,300 feet of elevation gain, showcasing stunning technical trails and creek crossings.

What to Expect

All courses navigate through remote backcountry and are closed to motorized vehicles. Expect to see a variety of wildlife, including deer, elk, and even bears! There are multiple well-stocked aid stations to support runners throughout the course.

Important Notes

Packet pickup will be on Friday, August 2, 2024. Make sure to check the race details and arrive early to your start time. Post-race festivities ensure a rewarding finish experience with food, drinks, and camaraderie among fellow runners!
