Gran Fondo Véloroute Péninsule acadienne

The third edition of the Gran Fondo Véloroute Péninsule acadienne will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in the beautiful region of Shippagan, at the heart of the Acadian Peninsula in northeastern New Brunswick. This sporting, cultural, and family-friendly event offers the perfect opportunity to take on a personal challenge by discovering one of our routes designed for all levels. The Gran Fondo Véloroute Péninsule acadienne is above all a friendly event where enjoyment is key, allowing everyone to ride at their own pace.

Those who register before July 3, 2026, will also receive a free jersey (adult sizes only), specially designed for our event. Please note that after July 3, no jersey will be included with registration.

Registration Fees:

• $125 + processing fees for all rides (Gran Fondo, Medio, Piccolo, and Cyclonmini). (Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.)
• $50 + processing fees: Celebration only registration (For companions): Come and taste our local products during the 5 à 7 and the post-race supper! You don't have to take part in the Gran Fondo with this option.

Registration closes on Sunday, August 16, at midnight (Atlantic Time).

Refund Policy: Registration fees are refundable until July 3, 2026, at midnight (Atlantic Time).

Rain or shine, the event will take place.

Start Times:

• Gran Fondo (145 km): 7:00 AM
• Medio (90 km): 8:00 AM
• Piccolo (55 km): 10:00 AM
• Cyclonmini (25 km): 10:15 AM

Included Activities:

• 5 à 7 (Happy Hour) on Friday, August 21: Enjoy a tasting of local products and a friendly atmosphere the evening before the event.
• Free admission to the Aquarium: Explore the marine species of the region.
• Seafood meal after the ride: Celebrate your accomplishment with a delicious meal.

Both events will take place at 106 Aquarium Street, Shippagan, N.B.
