About the Healthy Kids Running Series

The Healthy Kids Running Series is a five-week running program held in the spring and fall, designed for children from Pre-K through 8th grade. Each series takes place once a week and features age-appropriate running events such as 50 and 75-yard dashes, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and 1-mile runs. Participants earn points based on their finish in each race.

High School & Challenger Divisions

High school students are welcome to participate in a 2-mile race. The series also includes a Challenger Division, an adaptive 75-yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs, allowing for support from parents, siblings, and friends on the course.

Registration & Pricing

Full Series Registration covers all five races and includes race bibs, a runner shirt, a finisher medal, and sponsor giveaways. Early Bird registration offers a discount if registered by March 29th. Single Day Walk-Up registration is available on race day, opening one hour before the start time, and covers one race. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Awards

All participants receive a medal on Week 5. Trophies are awarded to the overall top finishers (boys and girls) in each division: Pre-K 50 Yard Dash, Pre-K 75 Yard Dash, Kindergarten & 1st Grade, 2nd & 3rd Grade, 4th & 5th Grade, 6th to 8th Grade, High School, and Challenger.
