Event Description

The Henderson Husky 5K and Mile Run will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at 8am followed by the 5K at 8:30am. This is a family-oriented event meant to promote the importance of physical fitness. Your involvement will also help raise funds to improve the school. The 5K and mile will be chipped timed with awards for overall and age group top 3 winners.

• Mile Run: Top 3 Male and Female finishers, Age Group Awards: 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-17
• 5K: Top 3 Male and Female, Top Masters, Age Group Awards: 9 & under, 10 - 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over

Packet Pick Up + Last-Minute Registration

• Friday, May 29th from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm at Henderson Elementary School (3799 Waterway Dr, Montclair, VA 22025)
• Saturday, May 30th from 12 pm to 2:00 pm at Fleet Feet Woodbridge (14210 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192)
• Sunday, May 31st from 6:15 am to 7:30am (prior to the race) at Henderson Elementary School (3799 Waterway Dr, Montclair, VA 22025)

All registration is online only on RunSignup.

Race Day Parking

Participants should park on neighboring streets in Montclair or the bus lanes that can be accessed off Cardinal Dr and Dyers Rd.

Water Stops & Post-Race

Water, bananas, and granola bars will be available at the finish of both races. For the 5k there will be one water stop at Mile 2. Kona Ice will once again be onsite post-race and a variety of sponsors will have booths set-up.
