The longest-running road race in Bluff Park returns on April 11, 2026. This challenging 5K is hosted by Shades Crest Baptist Church and features a medal ceremony with a free Pancake Breakfast immediately afterward. Race specifics: t-shirt, chip timing, corral start based on estimated finish time, police escort, mile markers, water at the midpoint, and enthusiastic supporters along the route. Our “Elementary School Challenge” participants will run the same course with a delayed start. Whether you are running this event for the first time or have completed all 22 previous races, please join us for a great day of fun and fellowship!

Race packets can be picked up on Friday, April 10th at the Family LIfe Center from 3pm-7pm or on race day from 7am-8am. The Family Life Center is located at 2820 Rockland Drive, Hoover.
