HURL Elkhorn

HURL Elkhorn is a tough endurance sports event in the Elkhorn Mountains of Montana, featuring technical single track trails, jeep roads, and stunning views. With significant elevation gain and challenging terrain, this event is not for the faint of heart.

Event Details

The event offers three courses: 50 Mile, 50K, and 13.1 Mile, all taking runners through remote backcountry and rugged terrain. Participants may encounter wildlife such as Deer, Elk, Moose, Bear, and more.

Registration

Registration prices vary for each course and increase closer to the event date. Participants will receive SWAG and finisher awards, including hand-drawn art of Elkhorn Mountain.

Location

The event starts and finishes at the Willard Creek Trailhead, located at the end of Forest Service Road 4014 in Helena, Montana. Participants are encouraged to camp at the trailhead before the race.
