Leprechaun 3 Miler by Lake Area Runners

Race Info

The Leprechaun 3 Miler by Lake Area Runners is an annual 3-mile race formerly known as the Athlete's Corner 3 Miler. The race will begin and end at the same location, starting at Big Daddy's Sports Grill and winding through the nearby neighborhood. It is described as a flat and fast course. Runners are encouraged to dress in St. Paddy's Day attire.

Registration Fees

• $30: January 20, 2026 - March 4, 2026
• $35: March 5, 2026 - March 12, 2026
• $40: Race Day, March 14, 2026

Age-based pricing:

• Ages 5 - 9: $5 registration fee (shirt not included, can be purchased for $18)
• Ages 65 and older: Free registration (shirt not included, can be purchased for $18)

Shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by Monday, February 17. Additional shirts can be purchased for $20.

Packet Pick-Up

Location: TBD

Registered participants need photo identification. Proxy pickup is allowed for immediate family members with identification.

Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 AM: Packet pickup & race day registration opens
• 7:30 AM: Packet pickup & race day registration closes
• 7:45 AM: Pre-race meeting
• 8:00 AM: Race begins (Ainsley's Angels start 1 minute prior)
• 9:00 AM: Awards

Awards

Top 3 finishers in each age group (1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) for both men and women will receive a gift card to Big Daddy's.

Race Series

This is the first race in the TRIPLE CROWN SERIES. Other races include the Contraband 5 Miler (May 2, 2026) and the 4 Miler on the 4th (July 4, 2026).

Refund Policy

Registration is non-refundable, non-transferable. No refunds, deferrals, or bib exchanges. No refunds if the event is cancelled due to circumstances out of the organizer's control.
