Brindley Beach Vacations Presents The Lighthouse 5k Series

The Lighthouse 5k / 1 Mile Race Series celebrates its 16th annual running. Events start at 8 AM on Wednesdays during Summer 2026 at The Whalehead Club, Corolla, NC.

Pricing:
ADULT: $45
Youth 17 & under: $40

Walk-up registration and pre-registered packet pickup/check-in is available race morning from 6:50 AM - 7:50 AM at the race start line, located at the Whalehead Club, 1100 Club Rd, Corolla, NC 27927 in the recently renamed Historic Corolla Park. There is plenty of parking and restrooms are located onsite. All entries include an event t-shirt, finisher medallion, and chip timing.

This is a family fun event sponsored by Brindley Beach Vacations, touring the historic attractions of the Northern beaches of the Outer Banks! Lace up your running shoes and see the sights. Add the fun of a run and fitness to your vacation by joining us for a Summer morning 5k run/walk through the Historic Village of Corolla Light. Enjoy the sights of the Northern Outer Banks. The WhaleHead Club, Corolla Light, and the magnificent Currituck Beach Lighthouse are all along the course. Unique finisher medals and t-shirts to all participants.

Race Start/Finish: In front of the Historic Mansion at The Whalehead Club in Corolla.

Awards: Top 3 Male/Female overall, 1st place Masters M/F (over 40), and 1st place Youth M/F (14 & under).

Registration never closes, everyone gets a shirt, a medal, and all professional services. We are walker and stroller friendly. Our mission is to give you the best experience possible. Service dogs allowed, no other pets please. Each of our events helps and assists local charities. All major credit cards accepted.
