Madeline Island Marathon and Half Marathon

Set on a beautiful, rural island in the Apostle Islands of Wisconsin, the Madeline Island Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Registration for the 2026 races is limited to 150 in the marathon and 350 in the half. Both races are expected to fill to capacity.

Both the marathon and half marathon courses are loops (common start/finish) with out and back portions on each. Both courses are mostly paved with small sections of packed gravel. The courses are both USATF certified, and the marathon is a Boston Qualifier.
