Malverne 5K Run for Education

The Malverne 5K run-walk for education is organized by the Malverne Educational and Fitness Foundation (MEFF). The net proceeds of the 5K run go to the MEFF, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth programs within the Malverne school district.

Packet pickup and day-of-run registration take place at Malverne High School, starting at 7:30 a.m.

Events

• 5K Run: Starts at 9:00 a.m. The course winds through Malverne, Lynbrook, and Lakeview. Awards for top finishers and age groups.
• Fun Run: For children aged 10 and under, starts at 8:30 a.m. Each participant receives a finisher's medal.

Start: Wicks Lane next to the H.T. Herber Middle School gym (75 Ocean Ave).

Finish: Behind Malverne High School.

Parking is available at the two HS parking lots and adjacent streets.
