Mattapoisett Mother’s Day 5K

Event Details

Celebrate and support the strong female figures in your life this Mother's Day with the Mattapoisett Mother’s Day 5K. Men, women, and children of all ages are welcome to participate in this scenic run/walk. The course begins and ends on the water at the Mattapoisett Town Wharf, offering beautiful views of Ned's Point, the lighthouse overlooking Buzzards Bay, and Mattapoisett Harbor.

Proceeds from the race will be used to support postpartum mothers on the South Coast.

Course & Categories

The 5K course will lead participants out to Ned's Point and back. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age category, along with a special stroller division. Age categories include:

• 10 and Under
• 11-19 Male/Female
• 20-29 Male/Female
• 30-39 Male/Female
• 40-49 Male/Female
• 50-59 Male/Female
• 60+ Male/Female

*Kids in strollers do NOT need to be registered; only those participating on foot.

Race t-shirts will be provided for those who register on or before April 13th.

The event takes place at Mattapoisett Town Wharf, 8 Water Street, Mattapoisett, MA 02739, US.

Several parking options are available within easy walking distance to the start/finish line, including:

• Mattapoisett Town Beach
• Depot Street Bike Path Parking Lot
• Center School Parking Lot
• Route 6 Lot

Additional parking may be available on side streets in the area.
