Dive into the thrill of the Tumbleweed Triathlon and push your limits in our Swim-Bike-Run challenge set on the vibrant UTPB Campus! Kick off with a 400 yd snake swim in a sparkling 50m pool, pedal through a flat, traffic-light 20k bike ride (don't forget your helmet!), and then stride onto a serene campus run. But act fast - spots are limited to 70 solo athletes and 10 dynamic teams. Make sure to grab your timing chip, sort out the USAT registration, and join in the buzz of packet pickup at the MCHS Foundation Mission Fitness Center! Race day ignites bright and early with racers setting up at dawn and hearts pounding at the starting line at 7:30 am. Go on, get your adrenaline pumping and secure your place now - we can't wait to cheer you on at this USAT sanctioned spectacle!

Event details and schedule

The Race (USAT Sanctioned and Officiated): This is a Swim-Bike-Run format on the UTPB Campus. The bike is a flat 20k 3 Loop around the UTPB campus on closed lanes (HELMET REQ.). The run is an out and back on the UTPB campus with little traffic. The swim is a 400 yd. snake swim in a 50m pool. The limit for number of entries is 66 individual entries and 10 teams. So, sign up early.

Chip Timing will be used. Prices do NOT include one day USAT registration fee of $14.99 per adult athlete/participant for non-USAT members. USAT one day registration for teams is $9 per person. PICK UP LOCATION: Packet Pickup will be at MCH MISSION FITNESS CENTER, 8050 E Highway 191, Odessa, TX 79762 contact Carmen at 432-640-6400 / [email protected]. Pick up your race packet on Saturday (the day before the race), July 25th from 1:00 pm to 6:00pm. Reg. closes Saturday at 6:00PM. ID required. Waivers must be signed online in order to participate.

The race starts at the UTPB Pool NOT the Odessa Y or Mission Fitness. Also, packet pickup is no longer at the Odessa Y.
