Miles for Mental Health 5K and Family Hike

We have organized this race to honor friends who have struggled with mental health, substance use and suicide. The proceeds from the race will go to Coalition for a Better Wallingford, a grassroots organization focused on early prevention and awareness. This is a rolling 5K through a beautiful New England town. The race starts and ends at a local park and winds through residential neighborhoods, past train tracks and by open fields. In addition to the 5K, we are offering a free, although donations are appreciated, family hike at Marcus Cooke Park. There are well marked trails for those choosing to go out on their own and a guided hike will also be offered for those interested.
