The Village Realty 5k/1 Mile Road Race Series takes place at 8 AM on Thursdays in the Village of West Nags Head. This is a walker, runner, racer, family-friendly, chip-timed event on the streets of the beautiful Village of West Nags Head. Located behind the Outer Banks Mall at milepost 14 on the Big Rd (Hwy 158).

Parking is available in the Mall, port-a-johns are located on site & the Start/Finish Line is on the corner of West Seachase and South Links behind the Outback Steakhouse.

Race Fee includes event t-shirt, finisher medal, chip timing and post race refreshments and snacks.

Packet pickup/Check-in and late walk-up registration is always available race morning on site at the race start line. There is no pre-event day packet pickup.

Awards categories for the 5k include Top 3 male/female overall, first place male/female Master (40 and over), 1st place male/female Youth (14 and under), and 1st place overall male/female in the 1 Mile.
