Onion Man Triathlon

The 31st Annual Onion Man Triathlon will be held on SUNDAY, May 17, 2026, in Walla Walla, WA. This grass roots, affordable, low-key event is designed to be accessible to all triathletes, from beginners to elites. It is also open to team competitors.

The Olympic Distance race includes a 1.5K lake swim, a 40K rolling bike course, and a 10K run. The bike course will largely follow the 2024 route, with minor adjustments.

Registration includes a short-sleeved T-shirt (if registered before April 29), a meal ticket to the post-race meal, and one free beer from Quirk Brewing in a custom pint glass. Additional beers can be purchased for $5.

Important Notes:

• There is a 300 participant cap. Register early.
• No day-of-race registration, waitlist, refunds, transfers, or deferrals.
• The event is USA Triathlon Sanctioned (Event ID #310427). USAT members will need to provide their membership number and card. Non-members will need a one-day license.
