Outpace Parkinson's In-Person 1-Mile, In-Person 5K and Virtual 5K

This is the eleventh annual 5K run/walk in support of Parkinson’s research through the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Participants can run or walk in person or virtually.

Events:

• In Person 5K: Starts at 9:00 AM EDT. Price: $25.00 (increases to $30.00 after March 20, 2026).
• In Person 1-mile: Starts at 9:15 AM EDT. This is an untimed event. Price: $25.00 (increases to $30.00 after March 20, 2026).
• Virtual 5K: Run 3.1 miles anywhere. Submit finish time by 12 Noon on April 5th. Price: $25.00 (increases to $30.00 after March 20, 2026).

Race Details:

• Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026
• Location: Sandy Creek Park, 400 Bob Holman Rd, Athens, GA 30607, US
• Description: Outpace Parkinson’s 11 is the annual 5K run/walk in support of Parkinson’s research through the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Make the most of your miles in the race to cure Parkinson's by becoming a Team Fox Athlete!
• Registration Fees: Prices increase after March 20, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT.
• Awards: Awards for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, Grandmasters Male/Female, and top 3 in 10-year age groups for the 5K. Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards.
• T-Shirts: Available for runners registered by midnight on March 20th.
• Course: The 5K course is run entirely within Sandy Creek Park on a paved surface. It is USATF Certified GA19043DJ.
• Race Series Member: Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series.

Race Day Schedule:

• 8:00 AM: Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration
• 9:00 AM: Outpace Parkinson's 5K
• 9:15 AM: 1-Mile Run/Walk (untimed)
• 10:00 AM: Awards
