Ozark's Mountain Challenge- Hiking (Ascent only)

Ozark's Mountain Challenge

This challenging hike takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM. Participants will have 12 hours to complete eight ascents of Mudlick Mountain, totaling approximately 21 miles and a vertical ascent equal to Mount Olympus. The route is Mudlick Hike Only Trail, Mudlick Equestrian and Hike Trail, and the spur to Fire Tower Trail. Shuttles will transport hikers back down after each ascent. The event is not a race, but a personal challenge of physical and mental endurance. The Spark of Strength Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 1st, at 6:00 PM at the CCC Lodge. This optional event is free and includes cold drinks.

Registration includes: all food and beverages (including alcohol) at the event and after-party, hydration/nutrition at aid stations, recovery aids, event swag, and participation in the Spark of Strength Ceremony.

• Spectators are allowed near the starting area.
• Pets are not allowed on the trail.
• Additional meal/drink passes for spectators are available for $25 each.
