This is your chance to run in the wild west on the historic Pony Express Trail in western Utah. This event features a 100-mile and a 50-mile run. The course is remote and requires a support crew for aid (food/water). The course is 100% dirt road with approximately 3,000 feet of elevation gain/loss, making it suitable for first-timers or personal records.

Course Details

The course for both races starts at Lookout Campground west of Faust, UT. The 100-mile race goes out 58.5 miles to Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge and returns to Simpson Springs Corral. The 50-mile course follows the same direction but finishes at Blackrock Pony Express station site. The roads are generally good.

Crews are required! You must have a crew or share one. A map will be required, but the course is easy to follow, generally heading west. Signs mark the Pony Express Trail at major intersections.
