Race the Lake 2024

Race the Lake 2024 is a thrilling cycling event that will take place on August 18, 2024. This year marks the 16th edition of the race, which offers participants the opportunity to ride around the stunning Lake Winnebago. The race covers a distance of 88 miles and is suitable for cyclists of all abilities, from professionals to beginners.

The event will kick off at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, where participants will gather for the dramatic start. From there, the route will take riders north, hugging the west side of Lake Winnebago. They will pass through picturesque towns such as Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, and Appleton before reaching the halfway point at High Cliff State Park.

After a well-deserved break, riders will continue their journey along the east shoreline of Lake Winnebago. This leg of the race offers breathtaking views of the lush greenery, the expansive blue lake, and the refreshing country air. The course will take cyclists through Calumetville, Marytown, and St. Peter before concluding at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac.

Participants can choose to compete as part of a tandem or relay team of 2-7 members. The registration fees for these categories range from $30 to $60, depending on the team size. This allows friends, family, or colleagues to join forces and experience the excitement of the race together.
