Join the Race to Protect Delaware’s Children 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, April 18, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM EDT at Glasgow Park Playground, Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE.

Registration fees start at $39.44. This event benefits the Office of the Child Advocate and the Protecting Delaware’s Children Fund.

Race Day Schedule:
9:00 AM - Day of Registration opens
10:00 AM - 5K Start

Awards:
Top Finisher Awards (Overall Male/Female and Overall Male/Female Masters) scored by gun time.
Age group awards (13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above) scored by chip time.
Medals for top 3 male/female per age group and top 3 male/female walkers.

Amenities:
T-shirts for pre-registers runners and day-of registrants (first come, first serve).
After party with music and post-race refreshments.

No dogs allowed due to insurance liability.
Bibs are non-transferable.
No refunds on registrations.
