Enjoy a run, meal, and live music at the Red Fern Festival 5k!

The 18th annual Red Fern Festival will take place on April 24-25 on Tahlequah Main Street, celebrating the novel “Where the Red Fern Grows.” The festival features over 150 arts and crafts vendors, gourmet food trucks, inflatables, petting zoos, and live music. This year, the Red Fern Festival 5k will have a new course starting and finishing at The FIT (NSU Fitness Center at 530 N Oak Ave, Tahlequah, OK 74464). The event will be held rain or shine; if weather is prohibitive, it will become a virtual run.

Runners will finish near food trucks and live music at Norris Park. The run encourages participation with dogs. For serious runners, it will be a chip-timed race by I:40 Race Service with medals awarded to the top 3 in every 5-year M/F Age Group.

• Location: Covered Pavilion just south of Norris Park
• Events: 5k and Fun Run
• Registration Open: 5:30 PM
• Start Times: Both the 5k and Fun Run will start at 6:30 PM

Registration Fees:

• Early Bird (Before April 7th): Fun Run $25, 5k $30
• Full Price (After April 7th to Race Day): Fun Run $30, 5k $35

T-shirt: Must register by April 7th for a guaranteed shirt. Shirts are first come, first serve for registrations after this date.
