Relay For Life Purple Glow 5K

Join the American Cancer Society for the Relay For Life Purple Glow 5K, a 5K run/walk event. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted and must start in the back of the start line. The 5K Run/Walk is professionally chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing with no time cap.

Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026

Location: Founders Square, Babcock Ranch | 42850 Crescent Loop, Punta Gorda, FL 33982

Time: Check-in begins at 6:15 pm. Opening ceremony and walk to follow at 7:00 pm.

Race Shirts: The guaranteed shirt cutoff date was midnight on March 20, 2026. Sizes shown during registration are the only ones available.

Packet Pickup:

• Early: April 2, 2026, from 9am - 5pm & April 3, 2026, from 9am - 5pm at Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
• Race Day: 6:15 pm to 6:45 pm.

Registration Cost:

• 5K Run/Walk: $40.00 on race day. Walk-in registrations are acceptable. Only credit cards or Apple Pay accepted; cash is not accepted.
• Age-Based Pricing: $30.00 for 18 years old and under (applies to both events).

Awards: In-person awards ceremony. Awards/shirts will NOT be shipped. Overall awards for Male & Female finishers in categories including 1st Place Overall, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+), Veteran Grand Masters (70+). Age Group Awards for Top 3 M/F finishers in each age category.

Post-race: Refreshments will be served. Water stations are located at the halfway mark and finish line. Restrooms are next to the Start Line. Free parking is available near Founder's Square.
