The 22nd Annual RUN FOR THE ROSE 5K & Family 1K DATE: Sunday, April 12, 2026 LOCATION: Helix Park in the Texas Medical Center The race supports brain cancer research and pediatric initiatives, recognizes brain tumor survivors, and remembers loved ones lost to this devastating disease. Race-day activities include a 5K Run, 5K Walk, Family 1K, Survivor Stroll for brain tumor patients, and a lively post-race party for all participants. 5K Run participants are eligible to win awards, given to overall top male and female participants, and those who finish first in age-specific categories. Children receive medals. This is a certified race.
