Run Mahomet

Run Mahomet - Celebrating 30 Years!

Run Mahomet is celebrating its 30th anniversary, bringing activity and support to the Mahomet community. It is a main fundraiser for the Mahomet Area Youth Club (MAYC), a non-profit organization providing education, programming, and community to children.

The event offers USATF Certified Courses for the 5k, 10k, and ½ Marathon, which are primarily flat and considered fast. Chip timing is provided by It’s Race Time, Inc. for in-person runners.

Virtual options are available for all races. Virtual runners will not be included in official timed results but can submit times for final rankings. Finisher Medals and Shirts will be mailed to all virtual runners.

Half-marathon participants must be 12 years of age or older. Families with strollers may participate in the 5K.

Awards:

• 5K: Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in each age group (10 and under to 70 and over).
• 10K: Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in each age group (14 and under to 70 and over).
• Half Marathon: Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in each age group (14 and under to 70 and over).

Prize money may be available depending on pre-race donations (TBD). Guaranteed Technical T-shirts for all runners registered by July 20th.

Packet Pick-Up Information:

• Drive-through packet pick up: Friday, 7am - 7pm at Middletown Prairie, 1301 Bulldog Dr, Mahomet, IL 61853.
• On-site race day pick up: Saturday, August 3rd from 5:30 to 6:45 am at Mahomet-Seymour High School, 302 W State St, Mahomet, IL 61853.
• Mailing: Option for virtual runners for an additional fee of $5.00 at the time of sign up.
