Run the Jewels Trail Race

The Run the Jewels Trail Race is a challenging 60k event held at Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation in Stanhope, NJ. The race features 5 out and back routes with a total distance of 37 miles and 7200ft of elevation gain.

Each route is fully marked with different colors, and participants collect a 'jewel' at the end of each route. The event starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 7:00 PM, with a final cut-off time of 7:00 PM.

Course Details

The routes include the most challenging sections of Allamuchy State Park and some hidden gems within the Scout property. Participants can choose the order in which they complete the routes, with each route ranging from 6-9 miles.

Racers will check in and out at the Camp Wheeler start/finish area after each route. Aid stations will be available, but participants are advised to carry enough water and food for each route.

Things to Note

Drop bags are only allowed at the start/finish area, and crewing is permitted only at the start/finish area. Pacers are allowed for the final two routes, and trekking/hiking poles are allowed.

Awards

Custom awards will be given to all finishers, and podium awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female participants.
