Salomon Toboggan Run

This event features a 'backyard' style format with 10 loops of a 5.8k course. The race starts at 9:00 AM AST on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Participants have 1 hour to complete each loop, with subsequent loops starting on the hour. If a loop is not completed within the hour, the race ends. The course consists of rail trail, logging road, ATV trail, and single track, with approximately 150m of ascent/descent per lap.

The event is a fundraiser for the St. Margarets Bay Food Bank and the Safety Minded ATV Association. Participants should be prepared for potentially challenging trail conditions including ice, snow, and mud. Studded shoes, snowshoes, skis, or hip waders are recommended.

The ATV Clubhouse will be available for indoor washrooms and shelter for clothes and food.

Important Notes:

• No refunds or deferrals (unless volunteering for 4 hours).
• Transfers are allowed.
• Please bring your own drinking vessel.
• No dogs allowed on the course.

Registration includes: Draw prize eligibility, aid station food, hot chocolate, and homemade cookies.
