Samson Strong 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run

This is a 5K competitive race and 1 mile Fun Run that will be held in downtown Tallassee. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM, race starts promptly at 9:00 AM. Registration is $25 per participant and includes runner's bib for 5K competitive runners. You can wear last year's t shirt or purchase this year's "I love someone in Heaven" t shirt. Race registration and t-shirt are free for all bereaved parents. The proceeds for this race will go to the Samson Strong Foundation. This foundation blesses local families who experience child loss through the gift of love baskets and monetary donations to help with funeral and memorial costs. This year's race theme is "I love someone in Heaven." It is held in memory of all the children in our community who are no longer with us and will honor their parents who will then have an opportunity to honor their child.
