Welcome to the 2026 Sasamat Mudskipper Fresh and Salty B.C Championships, now part of the Mudskipper Championship Series. This event offers a true swimrun experience with a freshwater swim in Sasamat Lake, a run to Belcarra Park, saltwater swimming, and a finish back at Sasamat Lake. It's described as one of the most unique events in the world and a B.C. Original.

Courses:

• Mudskipper Fresh and Salty B.C Individual SwimRun Championships (20K): A challenging 20K distance with multiple swim and run stages.
• Sasamat Mudskipper Swimrun Challenge (10K): A 10K distance perfect for those new to swimrun.

Sasamat Open Water Swim II:

This event also includes open water swims with distances of 1.0K, 3.0K, and 5.0K in Sasamat Lake.

Registration Fees: Prices vary based on the event and registration date. Early bird pricing is available.

Race Info: Check-in from 8:00 AM, Racing starts at 9:00 AM PDT. Washrooms and food will be provided. Wetsuits are optional but recommended due to water temperatures (60-70°F).
