Schuetzen NEIN! Hour Endurance Run

Event Details

Welcome to Schuetzen, where the safe word is "keep going"! Quad Cities Trail & Ultra Runners (QC-TUR) & Sun Trail Running present the return of the Schuetzen NEIN! Hour Endurance Run. This event challenges you to run as many miles as you can within a 9-hour time limit. You can run as much or as little as you'd like, making it a perfect opportunity to push your limits.

SOLO OR RELAY OPTIONS
Choose to run the nine hours solo or as part of a relay in the Mannschaft (Team) Division with up to two other runners. Teams can divide the loops and mileage as they see fit, with one runner on the course at a time.

The low registration fee covers essential race amenities, including abundant aid at the start/finish, hot food, cold beverages, a chance to earn the coveted Schuetzen Spanker (for 50k+ solo or 50mi+ relay finishers), a custom race shirt, and constant encouragement. A portion of the proceeds is donated to Schuetzen Park, which privately manages and maintains the park.

This event is a proud member of the No Coast Trail Series.

Course Description

The course is a beautiful and challenging 0.85-mile trail loop with approximately 125-150 feet of elevation gain per loop. It features mostly dirt/chipped rock single track, stair sections, and short grass areas. The event will proceed rain or shine.

Timeline & Location

Check-in starts at 7:00 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The race begins promptly at 8:00 AM. The start/finish area is located at the Jens Lorenzen Pavilion, accessible from Schuetzen Lane at the SW corner of the Good Samaritan Society property on Waverly Rd. Ample parking and bathroom facilities are available.

Registration Details

Online registration only. No paper registration or race morning registration. No refunds or bib transfers. A waitlist will be maintained if the event reaches capacity.

Deferral Policy: Participants can defer their entry for a 100% rollover credit for the following year's race. The deadline for deferrals is May 31st. Deferrals have a limited window to redeem their credit.
