Event Details

Please join us at 10:00 a.m. on 4/18/26 at our new "race home" - the very scenic and peaceful and fun Clayton County International Park in Jonesboro for our annual SUPERHERO 5K run/walk.

Southern Crescent Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center (SCSAC-CAC) opened our doors in 1994 providing much needed services to victims of sexual assault in South Metropolitan Atlanta. Recognizing the critical need for programs and services to include children who have been physical and sexually abused, in 2013 SCSAC-CAC expanded programming to include Child Advocacy. Programs and services include: 24-Hour Crisis Response, Victim Advocacy, Forensic Medical Examinations, Forensic Interviews, and Counseling. Additionally, we offer Prevention Education, Community Outreach, and Professional Development. SCSAC-CAC operates four regional offices: Hampton, Georgia (Henry County), Jonesboro, Georgia (Clayton County), Newnan, Georgia (Coweta County) and Milledgeville, Georgia (Baldwin County). Our designated service area includes 18 counties: Henry, Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Spalding, Butts, Pike, Lamar, Upson, Heard, Baldwin, Hancock, Jones, Putnam, Wilkinson, Morgan, Greene and Jasper counties. All services provided by our agency are free of charge and we never deny service to anyone in need. SCSAC-CAC is a nationally accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance and a state accredited member of Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia. In 2020, we provided direct services to 3,240 individuals. If you, or someone you know needs assistance, please call our 24-Hour Crisis Line at 770-477-2177. For more information about Southern Crescent Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center, please visit our website at www.scsac.org.
