We are delighted to introduce the brand new Shropshire Historic 50k - the third race in our Shropshire 50 series. This brand new race starts in Telford Town Park and takes in some of Shropshire's most iconic historical sites on a beautiful route to Shrewsbury.

Historical sites include: The Silkin Way, Ironbridge, Buildwas Abbey, Much Wenlock Abbey, Wroxeter Roman City, Attingham Park, Shrewsbury Abbey and Shrewsbury Castle.

What's also included:

• Special segment medal (also complete the Church Stretton 50K and Shrewsbury 50K to link the medals)
• Professional chip timing
• 5 Nutrition stations on the route
• Officially measured routes
• Free photo downloads

New for 2026 - complete Historic Shropshire 50K, the Church Stretton 50K (Shrewsbury to Church Stretton) and the Shrewsbury 50K (Church Stretton to Shrewsbury) and receive a special medal.
