SLTC Presents: Three Little Pigs (almost) Marathon Relay

SLTC Presents: Three Little Pigs (almost) Marathon Relay is an unsanctioned 3 x 8 mile relay on the best road route in Los Angeles: shaped like a porkchop featuring a hill you will not forgot and will conquor! Coffee, donuts, barbecue, views! Push your limits and win bragging rights or just come for the hang, either way it will be a highlight of the summer.

WHAT

A nearly marathon-distance relay doing three loops of the legendary Pork Chop route in Griffith Park. All runners get a commerative t-shirt and finishers medal !

Race Entry

($60 for relay team of 3 or $20 for Individual Patricipant): Pull together two friends and register as a team of three, or Sign up as an individual with your predicted Porkchop time – Don’t know how to guess? Maybe go try running one first – or use your half marathon pace and add 15-30 seconds depending on your hill fitness x 8 miles. We’re going to programmatically assign individuals to the optimal team for the best race.

Saturday, August 24th, 2024. 6 am race start (it’s going to be hot)
