Snowbowl 15K

Race Information

The Snowbowl 15K is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, starting at 8:30 AM MDT. Registration opens May 6, 2026, at 8:00 AM MDT.

Course Description

The beautiful loop course starts and finishes in the Snowbowl base area. It covers 9.3 miles with 4.65 miles of climbing on a mixture of dirt and double track roads, reaching the aid station at the top of Grizzly Chair. The descent is a 4.65-mile stretch down Beargrass Highway single track. The race features 2,150 ft of climbing and 2,150 ft of descending.

• July 1 - July 31, 2026: $55
• August 1 - August 8, 2026: $65

Note: No refunds, deferrals, or transfers. The Snowbowl 15k is capped at 250 participants.

Schedule

• Friday, August 7, 2026: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Packet Pick Up at Runner’s Edge basement.
• Saturday, August 8, 2026:
  • 7:30 AM - 8:15 AM: Packet Pick Up at Snowbowl Base Area
  • 8:30 AM: Race Start
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Post Race Lunch
  • 11:30 AM: Awards Ceremony
  • 12:00 PM: Course Closed

Location

The Snowbowl 15k takes place at the Montana Snowbowl. The start/finish line is right next to the lodge.
